The Central School

Central School replaced the old Pine Grove School with a new brick building in 1900.  Voters approved a $24,000 bond issue in 1900.  W. G. Eckles of New Castle, laid out the plans and Hayes and Holler, also of New Castle, began construction on the building.  The building was completed in 1901 for $19,300.
