Record Class - Largest in it's History

The commencement exercises of the Grove City high school were held last night, and the largest class in the history of the school, 22 received diplomas from S. L. Black, president of the school board.

The class included: Mabel Montgomery, F. Paul McConkey, Helen G. Shaffer, Guy E. Allen, Helen Louise Black, Mabel Lee Mechlin, Lulu Jane McCune, T. Friend McCoy, Helen Genevieve McCutcheon, Martha Alice McCoy, Mabel Claire Brackney, E. Ruby Chandler, Floyd G. Barclay, Cecil E. Bovard, Elizabeth Blanche Wilson, Grace Elizabeth Mayers, Robert Painter, Virginia S. Kelly, Sarah Frances Barr, David R. Thompson, Jay E. Billingsley, Ralph S. Boots.

At the close of the exercises the High School alumni association held its annual reunion and banquet. Toast Master A. M. Orr, 91, of Greenville, introduced the following speakers: Louise Black, Henry Thompson, Clara Moon, A. C. Daugherty, C. B. Smathers.  Officers were elected as follows: President, A. M. Orr; vice president, P. C. Crawford; secretary, Fred Daugherty, treasurer, W. S. McKay.
